Plural Posters

Our Spelling dictation words this week are focusing on plurals. I'm a bit worried about introducing this concept with ELL learners, so I thought I'd make some posters to help guide them. I'll use these with a center activity that I can ask my EA to help out with. Big thanks to Michelle, the 3 AM Teacher, and Nikki at Melonheadz Illustrating, and Mel at From the Pond for the great graphics!

Click either of the images for the link to these free posters.

  6. Awesome posters! Any chance you could make one for the other "y" rule? (if it has a vowel before the y, just add s (like monkeys, valleys, etc))

  16. Your posters look great. So colorful! It would be great if you had a chance to create posters that differentiate between the "Y" rules. The rule for words ending in consonant y is change y to i add es and for words ending in a vowel y you just add s. All that said - considering these posters are free - I think they're marvelous and appreciate your willingness to share with us!

    1. Hi Kristine,
The updated version of these posters can be found here: http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Plural-Posters-278203
In that file I've included the rule for a word ending in a vowel and then y (#5). I'll update the links now. Thanks!
