The King and Queen of -ing

I was just reading Mrs. Bremer's blog and found a great literacy center idea to match our recent work with the -ing word ending. She used a crown template from Mrs. Johnson's First Grade that is so handy. Since the six girls in my classroom are total girly-girls, I decided to go one step further and create a Queen of -ing crown. Here's what I came up with:

Can you guess whose clip art I've used? Yep, that's the right, my go-to creator and dear friend, Michelle, the 3AM Teacher. Click the images to download the template.

I definitely recommend you go check out the two great bloggers above. I am the newest follower of both ladies and have already found some fantastic ideas!

Happy Friday!

  1. I've always wanted to make crowns because I love calling the children the King of -ing. Now, I can easily make the crowns. Thanks so much for sharing these.
